Everyone knows that playing games are a great way to develop cognitive, math and analytical skills in children. They also encourage development of social skills that are related to cooperation and fair play. Parents, family members, and teachers can use the opportunity to bond with their children and help them to understand the importance of having fun without a need for too much competition by simply playing some type of family oriented games with them.
However, finding games that teaches Christian values that offers both educational and entertainment value may be a bit more difficult; especially in today’s society when children are being desensitized by the media and our current public educational system.
We as parents must make it a priority to spend more quality time with our children. I believe there’s no better way to do so than to have fun while sharing our faith with them.
